East Africa

East Africa protectorate was an amalgamation of British protectorate countries in East Africa - Kenya, Tanganika, Uganda and Zanzibar. It issued currency through the East African Currency Board from 1905 to 1964 and was replaced by the individual country banks in 1966. the currency was pegged to the british currency at the time.
